Rosette potential

Our inspectors have an unrivalled wealth
of experience in assessing culinary
excellence throughout the UK.

Assessing culinary excellence since 1956

The AA Rosette award was the first nationwide scheme for assessing the quality of food served by restaurants and hotels. Receiving the award is a huge achievement and is not to be underestimated. The Rosette is an award, not a classification: Rosettes are awarded on a rising scale based on a meal visit by one or more of our inspectors.

“With so few restaurants in the UK achieving this top accolade, it’s a fantastic recognition for the team’s hard work and dedication.”

Awarded 5 Rosettes at the AA Hospitality Awards 2024

How we assess

for Rosettes

Our professional inspectors always visit anonymously.

They will book or, on occasions, walk-in for lunch.

They will then take a series of dishes; starter, main and dessert from either the table d’hôte, a la carte or both
menus.

At the end of the meal, we will pay, ask who the manager or head chef is and feedback is given in person at the time of inspection.

We will leave a business card if the appropriate contact is not available.

We will confirm the awarded Rosette rating in writing.

You will receive a RAK Rosette plate and signage can be purchased.

Boost your credibility, atract more guests and stay ahead in the competitive hospitality industry.
