Quality Standards

We assess and rate accommodation under a set of quality standards agreed by the UK tourist authorities – Quality Standards are the basis for the inspections that take place.

Glamping Sites Star Rating

Ranging from 3 to 5, star ratings denote the standard of quality and variety of facilities for glamping sites.

★ ★ ★ These sites are of a good standard with well-maintained facilities and grounds and buildings kept in good condition. You can expect to find good attention to customer care and security.

★ ★ ★ ★ You can expect a high-quality glamping site with well-maintained facilities. All bedding and linen are provided, and good, heated toilets and shower facilities can be expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 star glamping sites are of an extremely high standard, set in attractive surroundings with mature landscaping. Facilities, security and customer care are exceptional.

Quality Assessed

This accreditation level involves a full inspection, testing all services to ensure minimum quality standards are met, but with no star rating awarded.
