AA Inspector joins the judges for a new Channel 4 show
One of our very own inspectors, Eva Genin, has joined the judging panel of a new Channel 4 show The Great B&B Challenge.
Six couples are set to battle it out to win the prize of a lifetime – a five-bedroom B&B in the heart of rural France – in a new 15-part Channel 4 series produced by True North Productions.
Launching on November 24th at 5pm and narrated by Mariella Frostrup, The Great B&B Challenge sees six couples compete across a range of challenges, judged by a team of experts, with the successful team winning their dream B&B property.
Andrew John and Brennan Street from New Life in the Sun, who have first-hand experience of setting up a B&B business abroad are part of the knowledgeable judging panel, alongside expert industry inspectors Eva Genin from the AA and Nicola Crosse from Sawday’s.
Over two weeks of heats, competitors/contestants are put to the ultimate test as they run French B&Bs for real guests, complete challenges that test their hospitality, culinary and business skills.
As the couples are whittled down, four make it to the final week where they’ll take it in turns to run the prize B&B that could be theirs by the end of the series, all while soaking up the sun and experiencing their potential new lives in rural France.
Alongside reviews from guests, our expert team of judges reach their conclusion of who will win the coveted prize.

“The couples competing to win the B&B in France all come with different personalities, different USPs, different goals. So, it’s going to be a lot of fun for audiences to follow their journey and try and guess who’s going to win it and cheer them on.”
