Celebrating the best of the best at the AA Hospitality Awards 2025

The AA Hospitality Awards 2025 have once again shone a spotlight on the very best of British hospitality, celebrating the chefs, restaurants, hotels, and teams that make the UK’s food and travel scene so special. Held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London and hosted by Vernon Kay, the event was a glittering showcase of talent, innovation, and dedication. From fine dining to boutique stays, this year’s winners truly raised the bar.

Chef Gareth Ward of Ynyshir Restaurant and Rooms in Wales took home the coveted AA Chefs’ Chef award, recognised by his peers for his bold, boundary-pushing approach to dining. Meanwhile, Skof in Manchester was named AA Restaurant of the Year for England, with Joséphine in Chelsea taking the London title. Across the UK, Gorse in Cardiff won AA Restaurant of the Year Wales and The Little Chartroom in Edinburgh picked up AA Restaurant of the Year Scotland.

In the hotel category, 1 Hotel Mayfair impressed in London, while The Cavendish Hotel in Derbyshire and St Brides Spa Hotel in Pembrokeshire were celebrated for their excellence. The 25 Boutique B&B in Torquay was crowned AA B&B of the Year, and Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire took the Spa Hotel of the Year title. The Brend Collection and Daniel Thwaites were recognised for their outstanding hotel groups, showcasing the power of family-run and independent hospitality.
